But i would be very happy if you can give the details of these profile options, its description, Function to be retrieved with the profile option and the topic wise(submodule) like Payroll, I-rec, SSHR profile options. Through which it will be easier to know and to use the profie options

Should the Organization Diagrammer rollup the headcount totals? The bottom tier of the hierarchy has the correct headcounts but the upper tiers all have 0 for a headcount.

We have created one leave type and it is displaying in front end(Global HRMS Manager)but while applying leaves from SSHR it's not displaying in LOV for some employees.

Hi,

On my current project, the client is using security groups. THis means that the system profile HR:Cross Business Groups is set at No; which is correct. When it is set to yes we have no problems with the workflow on termination employees or changes to hours in MSS.

However it has to be set to No; is there a way we can get round this problem? Does the system profile 'HR:Restrict Transactions Across Legislations in SSHR' have any influence on this?

When an employee re-enters a company, she/he see their old data from their 1st period of service and also their current data in Self service.

This should not be the case. They should only see their current data of current period of service.

I am looking out for a step-by-step guide to iRecruitment setup

I got a document from metalink which mentioned the setup but profile options that i have to change, but i am not sure how to go about it.

It will be of great help if you could provide some technical article regarding this module. I would like to have the Basic features of iRecruitment to work (specially the IRC External Site setup)

I enabled the irecruitment reponsibilities and managed to do the following
create new vacany-> and attach a assesment test for the vacancy->

the vacany went for approval, but after approval , i got the message, no recruiting sites defined

Also from Employee Self Service, as a employee, i was able to view the vacany and also apply for the job, but i did not get the assesment Test which was attached to the vacancy.

We are facing some issue with the benefit termination of our California employee and I am not able to find out how is this updates when the employee termination date is entered in the system.

Hi,

we are using manager self service to terminate employees.
we are facing an issue with the effective date of termination for the employee.

when an employee is terminated on sysdate from the Manager self service, the termination life event is being triggerred with an occurred date of sysdate, this should actually be sysdate+1.
due to this incorrect termination event triggerred date, the COBRA notification is not being sent for the employees. because when the event is processed (on sysdate) the employee is active so the event goes into processed state with out any changes.

howev er, when we terminate an employee from Oracle forms on sysdate, the termination life event is beign triggerred with an occurred date of sysdate+1 and on processing the life event, the employees enrollments are ended and COBRA notification is being sent which is as expected.

i am trying to figure out a way to change the effective date to sysdate+1 that is being sent from the SSHR to forms instance when the employee terminated from manager self service.

any pointers on how to proceed with be really helpful.

I just want to know what is the significance of this profile option. If at responsibilty level the profile option HR: Cancel Application is set Yes, what does that mean.
