Workflow customization POREQCHA.wft

Hi,

I have customized 'POREQCHA.wft' to follow the requestor hirarchy. while downloading POREQCHA.wft from dataqbase or saving the customized POREQCHA.wft in datababase I am getting the following error 'WFLDRS_FAIL
WFLDRSD_FAIL MODE=UPGRADE EFFDATE=2008/09/23 09:03:10
WFLDRSD_PROT_CUST NAME=POREQCHA/PO_REQ_APPROVE ENTITY=MESSAGE'
Please suggest a solution to resolve the issue.
the problem does not occure in non customised environment.

Try this

Being the Access Level down to 0 [not recommended though]
Also, enable the checkbox "Allow Modifications to Customized Objects"
Now try to upload the wft

Both these can be set by using WF builder.

Thank you for the assistance.
But I need some more guidance regarding customizations
I have taken copy of POREQCHA.wft and added the processes,functions,attributes in that to follow my logic.
Tha diagram was validated successfully.But I updated the internal name of my custom workflow with the scaript 'wfchitt.sql old_name new_name' the name updated suceessfully.After that I saved it in database.and in Core purchasing for requestor change order approval I put customised approval workflow and startup process and saved it.Now as per my knowledge it should follow custom workflow.But it is not doing so.It still changing requisiton with standard workflow.and whenever I am downloading from database the wft,It is givibg me standard as well as custom workflows in same wft.please guide.

If your a workflow is internally referencing another WF, then yes the other WF will be downloaded too in the WF builder

Then how should I make to follow the my custom workflow instead of standard one? Can you please guide?

Hi,

Check the process raised/triggered from your business program to this workflow. If its raised with the old internal name.

Also restart the workflow agents, listeners as there are caching in the workflows.

How do we check the which wf will raised by which program ....
As we have transaction types in ONT and Document types in PO...
But in the for new wfs?

Hi,

Our implementation team done the customization in po approval workflow that If any approved PO is changed and amount is decreased then then the change is self approved by buyer.
Our client is looking for the same for requistiion approval workflow
If any approved requistion is changed and amount is decresed,then it should not be go for reapproval
Is it possible to do the customization in requisition approval workflow or requestor change order workflow?
If yes then please suggest a way
