Some times we face the problem that we forget the Xelsysadm password and if we forgot the password of Xelsysadm then we can't do anything in Oracle Identity Manager. Here I am going to tell you what to do in such scenarios.

To resolve this issue, you must have one user whose password is known to you.

Follow these steps
1) Go to sql developer or sql plus and connect with the OIM schema user.

2) Run " select usr_password from usr where usr_login='User login of user whose password you know' "

3) copy this encrypted password .

4) Now run "update usr set usr_password='hash password of user (encrypted ) which you copied' where usr_login='XELSYSADM' ";

5) Now restart the server and try to login again.
