Hi,

For Workforce planning (Attrition current employee expenses, budget, Bonus Plan), etc., have you come across any scenarios that cannot be accomplished in Workday Adaptive Planning and had to switch to Oracle Workforce Planning.

We are currently using Oracle EPBCS for Financials planning and workday workforce planning is being used by one of our Business Units. At a high level looks like the Workday is scalable for the rest of the business units for workforce planning.

But wanted to get feedback from the folks who have evaluated both these systems.

Thanks,
Chitra

    Hi Chitra,

Please find below my response to the query:

Both Adaptive Planning and Workforce Planning have some similarities in functioning but they do have some considerable differences.

Workforce Planning (Oracle EPM) provides the below features that Adaptive solution cannot:
    *Predictive Planning
    *Allocations
    *Native Hyperion EPM integrations
    *Reporting as per Business needs
*Business rules to include different logics which allows data movements and mappings
*Strategic Modeling - Long Range Planning
*We do have other modules like Capital, Projects and Financials in place, so inter module movements of data is
considerable easy to build and maintain
*Since Financials is currently in use, integration becomes simpler as its within the application
