In my previous article in Oracle Fusion Goal Management , I discussed the basics of the Goal Plans in Oracle Fusion Talelnt Management.

To recap, Goal plans are used to manage a collection of performance or development goals for a specific period. Goal plans can be rolled out to individuals, a selected hierarchy, or a wider population within the organization.

In this article you will learn about creating Goal Plans.

Consider the example of ABC Corporation that would like to increase sales by 10% from the previous year. A HR specialist creates a goal plan that contains the organization objective that the Sales Team can work on throughout the performance evaluation period.

Steps to achieve the objective would be something like this:

  • Create a performance goal plan for the Sales team
  • Add goals to the workers to meet the organization’s objectives
  • Add tasks to each goal to help measure the completion of the goal.

1.In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for the Manage Goal Plan task and click on ‘Go to Task’ Icon.

2.Click the Create Goal Plan dropdown button to activate the menu and choose the Performance list item.
3.In the Goal Plan Name, Enter ‘Sales Team Goal Plan 2015’.
4. Enter the current date into the Start Date field.
5. Enter a future date into the End Date field.
6. Click the Enable weight option.

7. Click the Next button to open the Create Goal Plan: Organization Assignment Page.
8. Click Next to open the Create Goal Plan: Worker Assignment Page.

16. In the Description field. Enter "Increase sales by 10 percent for the period over the previous year.”
