How do I show a custom balance in the Payroll balance Report ?
This is for US Legislative Data Group.
All dates are as of 1-Jan-2023.
I created a Balance called GP33 Allowances.
Added dimensions as shown in screenshot.
Added the Pay value of couple of elements (Food Allowance, Housing Allowance and Travel Allowance) as Balance feed.
Ran the Generate Run Balances report for the new Balance.
Semi Monthly payroll successfully ran for 1st 3 pay periods of 2023.
Ran the flow "Run Payroll Balance Report". The report shows many balances including the individual pay elements which are added to the custom balance but the custom balance does not show.

The setup exists in the 1st Instance URL in the dashboard. All setup starts with GP33.

Any help ?

This is primarily related to legislation. The report being referred to derives its values from balance groups, and it is necessary to associate the customer balance with the appropriate predefined balance group. This ensures that the out-of-the-box report can correctly reference the custom balance and retrieve the required values.

Please note that when allowances are created, they fall under the Earnings element classification. As a result, they are automatically included in the relevant balance group.

For the exact balance group name, We would be reviewing  the details further.

Thank you for your kind patience!
