Course Overview

The training provides a comprehensive, practical roadmap for moving from the classic Fusion UI to the modern Redwood user experience. Module 1 focuses on the technical readiness and enablement process, covering all critical prerequisites, necessary roles, and scheduled processes required for a successful transition. Module 2 shifts into the hands-on customization and extension of Redwood pages using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS), including best practices for deployment, CI/CD pipeline management, and production readiness.

What You Will Learn

• Prepare for Redwood: Understand the business value, roadmap, and required security roles (Fusion, VBS, IDCS) for both initial setup and ongoing administration.
• Enable & Validate: Master the use of the Redwood Personalization Helper Tool to assess current configurations and learn the critical profile values and scheduled jobs needed to activate Redwood pages (e.g., Data Ingestion, ACL Computation).
• Customize with VBS: Gain hands-on experience using Visual Builder Studio to launch, modify, and configure business rules on a core HCM page (e.g., Hire an Employee).
• Deploy Securely: Learn how to configure robust CI/CD pipelines in VBS, manage commit/push changes, implement necessary approval gates, and establish a clear rollback strategy for a safe, controlled cutover to production.
