My previous article, buff.ly/1x7b013 outlined steps to complete task 1 through 3. This article discusses the steps involved in completing tasks 4 and 5.

To recap:

ABC Corporation requested the Fusion Implementation team to design a way to track the Corporate Citizenship activities of workers so that they can rate them on their involvement in the organization. To achieve this, we need to complete the following tasks:

1. Create a rating model

2. Create a Content Type

3. Create Content Items

4. Add the Content Type to the Person Profile Type

5. Adding the New Content Section to a Profile

Task 4 - Add the content type to the person profile type
1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for the Manage Profile Types task and click on ‘Go to Task’


2. On the Manage Profile Types page, locate the Person profile type and click on ‘Edit’

3. On the Edit Profile Type: Person page, select the Content Sections tab.
4. In the Content Sections region, click Add Content Section.
5. In the Content Sections region, click ABC Corporate Citizenship.

6. On the Content Section page add up the following field properties, as shown in this table. Use the default values except where indicated.

The following table describes fields (content section properties) that appear on the pages with the profile item.


7. In the Content Section Access section set up access for employees to be able to edit the section and for managers and HR specialists to view it.
8. In the Role field, select Employee.
9. Select the Update check box.
10. Click Add.
11. In the Role field, select Manager.
12. Click OK.
13. Click Add.
14. In the Role field, select HR Specialist.
15. Click OK.


16. On the Edit Profile Type: Person page, click Save and Close.
Task 5 - Adding the New Content Section to a Profile
17. In the global area Navigator menu, select Person Gallery and open the Person Gallery Page.
18. Click the ‘My Portrait’ Tab.
19. Find and select the ‘Experience and Qualifications’ Card

20. On the Skill and Qualification section, click the Edit Skills and Qualifications icon  button to open the Edit Skills and Qualification Page

21. In the Content Type field, select ABC Corporate Citizenship.

22. Click the Add button to open the Select and Add dialog box.
23. In the Name Field, enter Environmental
24. Click Search
25. Select Environmental Responsibility.
26. Click Ok to return to the Edit Skills and Qualification Page.
27. Repeat Steps 22-26 to include Social Responsibility and State Citizenship.

28. When you are finished, click Submit.
29. Click yes to open the confirmation dialog box.
30. Click OK to return to the My Portrait tab.
31. ABC Corporate Citizenship is now included on your Experience and Qualification Card
