Like in R12 here in Fusion too you can do it in two ways

1) If you want to group assets by financial information you can do so by defining the Asset Category key flexfield
2) At the same time if you want to group and track assets by physical location fusion uses Location Flexfield

still not able to see the option to make the asset as group..
despite creating a category.. my group options did not get enable

well i got the details that advanced tab is not visible to me when creating rules for a book.. so cant really select group depreciation..

they are visible for default books like vision corp, china corp..

but not to me..
