This article will guide you on Supplier Site Creation in Oracle Fusion Application.

While creating a supplier site you may notice that the site create an icon is grayed out.

The First thing is you have to create a procurement agent. In order to create a procurement agent, you need to add an employee in the system first. Normal user like implementation user will not work.

To create the employee user →

In setup and maintenance search for manage users by clicking on the Search button

Click on manage users and Go to task.

Click on the Create button.

 

Error 1 – No employment model exists for this LE

Error 2 – No Legislative data group exists for this LE

For this you need to perform a HCM setup. Create a legislative data group and employment model, which is generally done by HCM people.

 

To perform this navigate to setup and maintenance and search for legislative data →

Click on Create→

Give a name, country and currency will automatically populate.

Leave the cost allocation structure blank as it is not mandatory.

Now navigate to the Implementation Project → Search for your project.

→ Financials → Define Common application Configuration for financials → Define Enterprise structure for financials → Define legal Legal entities for financials → Manage Legal entity HCM Information

Select your LE in the scope and click on scope.

Click on edit and choose the option Correct from the dropdown

Now go to Payroll Statuary unit →Select the LDG you created (in the Associated Legislative Data Group field)

 

Click on submit and then Yes.

Now navigate to manage users and try to create the user, select the type as employee, select your Legal Employer and Business Unit too.

After Creating the employee, create it as a procurement agent. When you create an employee your employee tables are also updated. So create the employees from manage users page instead directly from OIM, because there will be no linkage between the two.

It might take few minutes for the user to be created in OIM.

Navigate to Procurement agent screen and click on create→

Give the employee name you have created, select your BU, and enable the functions you want this agent to perform.

 

Click on Save and close.

 

Assign the roles to your employee user created→

Roles to be assigned

Supplier Administrator – By assigning this role you cannot create the supplier, but can update an existing supplier.

Supplier Manager – Can create a supplier by assigning this role.

Apart from these, assign the following data roles to your employee user created as shown in the screenshot.

 

Now you can create the supplier Site with the new employee user →
