Has anyone created any custom Roles in Fusion Need help in Creating Custom GL Accountant Role Need to Remove Period Close Icon and show only Jounrals and Dashboard icons
Hi Aravind,
For removing period close icon, we need to delete/ detach it from the custom general accountant role.
Navigation: -
Home – My enterprise – Setup & maintenance – Financials module – Users & security – Select Manage Job roles from right menu – Search for General Accountant role (or the custom role created) – Select drop down assign to this role – Select Edit role – Go to Function Security Policies (To view all the privileges assigned to this role) – Select Manage Period close activities (which allows access to period close work area) –
Now you have 2 options:
- Select delete ( x ) or
- Select detach – Select manage period close activities here – Select detach (To detach the specific table from the role)
