  1. Access E-Business Tax Manager: Log in to your Oracle E-Business Suite instance with the appropriate credentials and navigate to the E-Business Tax Manager responsibility.
  2. Query the Tax: Locate the tax you want to end-date by querying it using the search functionality within the Tax Manager.
  3. Access Tax Details: Once you've located the tax, open its details page to view its configurations.
  4. End-Date Tax: Within the tax details page, you should find an option to end-date the tax. Typically, this involves specifying an end date for the tax rate or tax rule that you want to terminate. Look for fields or buttons labeled "End Date" or "Inactive Date".
  5. Update Offset Tax Configuration: If the tax you're ending is an offset tax for another tax, make sure to update the configuration of the tax that references the one you're ending. You may need to remove the reference to the ended tax or specify a new offset tax.
  6. Save Changes: After making the necessary updates, save your changes. This typically involves clicking a "Save" or "Apply" button within the Tax Manager interface.
  7. Verify Changes: Double-check that the tax has been successfully end-dated and that any associated configurations have been updated accordingly.
