Hi

We have a requirement wherein tax codes on goods and services will be defined based on product category. For goods, it is Inventory item with categories like Standard, Reduced, Exempt and for services it is Non-Inventory with the same category like Standard, Reduced etc.

How to achieve this requirement to arrive at the tax codes ?

Any document explaining the step by step process along with showing necessary setups in Inventory module/purchasing module will be of great help.

Thanks

Hi Ankit,

You can use the Product Category fiscal classification along with Product fiscal classification.

Refer the below oracle implementation section, Product Category Fiscal Classifications (oracle.com). It will give you enough details to understand the configuration for the same.
