Hi Anil,
I registered the page xxPersonMainPG in Function as "Person Management in OAF" and assigned to "Navigator Menu - System Administrator GUI" menu. But when I double click the menu item, a new page pops up and says:

Error
The Person Management in OAF function is not available under the System Administrator responsibility.

What should I check ?

Thanks
Alex Zhang

Hi Anjani or Anil,
For the first time developed a OAF Page and deployed in Apps Instance .
I followed following steps
Development Steps:
1. Created a New OA Component Page @ Default Package oracle.apps.ak. BGHello.webui
P hyscial Location at my PC C:\BG\JDevelope r\JDev_Home11i\ myprojects\orac le\apps\ak\BGHe llo\webui\BGHel loworld.xml
2. A Controller is attached Main Region of the above Page ie. BGHelloWorldMai nCO.java (Same as that of Document Guide HelloWorld Example)
3. Build the Project and Run the Page
It Runs Successfull Without any Error

Deployme nt
1. Migrated BGHelloworldPG. xml to $JAVA_TOP/oracl e/apps/BGHello\ webui\BGHellowo rld.xml Via WINSCP in Text/ASCII Transfer Type
2. Migrated BGHelloWorldCO. class (From Myclass directory) to $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/BGHello\webui\BGHelloWorldCO. class Via WINSCP in Binary Transfer Type
3.Imported Page and Its Components via import batch from windows command prompt (i.e C:\BG\JDevelope r\11iRUP6\jdevb in\jdevin)

im port C:\BG\JDevelope r\JDev_Home11i\ myprojects\oracle\apps\ak\BGHello\webui\BGHelloworldPG. xml -username apps -password apps -rootdir C:\BG\JDevelope r\JDev_Home11i\ myprojects\ -dbconnection "(DESCRIPTION=( ADDRESS=(PROTOC OL=tcp)(HOST=17 2.16.1.33)(PORT =1536))(CONNECT _DATA=(SID=TEST )))" -rootPackage /d03/oracle/pro dcomn/java/orac le/apps/ak/BGHe llo/webui

Above completed without Error.
and JDR_% tables are updated with Page Components

4. Created a AOL Function BG_TOOLBOX_HELL O and Attached to OA Toolbox Menu "OA Framework ToolBox HelloWorld"
Typ e:SSWA jsp function
HTML Call: OA.jsp?page=/or acle/apps/ak/BG Hello/webui/BGH elloWorldPG

5. Bounce the Apache Web Server
adapcctl.sh stop apps/apps

adapcctl.sh start apps/apps

6. Login and Try to open newly created Page
It Opens with Error

Hi

Import utility available under jdevbin/oaext/b in in jdeveloper 10g . you can check at both the locations
jdevbin/jdev/b in or jdevbin/oaext/b in

once you imported, use the below scripts to check

begin
jdr_uti ls.printDocumen t('/oracle/apps /ak/soa/webui/p agenamePG');
en d;

Thanks
