Please find a powerpoint presentation that explains the basic fabric of CLAF [Custom Look and Feel]. By default, the look and feel used by Oracle's self service pages is BLAF [Browser Look & Feel]. Using CLAF, you can create new custom skins for OA Framework pages.
Using this presentation, you will understand the concepts, and also various components that are involved in creating such skins.
The idea is to give you a good overview of this technology.
This presentation also touches base upon how you can implement custom skins in older version of Apps using custom.xss

Note- If you are prompted a password, simply click read-only

In the next article, I will prepare a quick video demo to show the steps in defining a new skin.

Hi Anil

i am new to OAF . My requirement is to change the color of a column based on condition.i'm using jdev 9i
I have tried couple of includestyles to paint the cell with color but not able to achieve the desired results.
Atmost what I was able to achieve is to paint the background of the text uptill the text spans.But is doesn't paint the whole cell.
It will come like..
CODE:(Cu stom.xss)

none

RGB(255,0,0)

RGB(255,0,10)

in CO
-------
OAMe ssageStyledText Bean mstBean = (OAMessageStyle dTextBean)webBe an.findIndexedC hildRecursive(" serviceLevelID" );
OADataBoundValu eViewObject css = new OADataBoundValu eViewObject(mstBean, "value1CSS");
mstBean.setAttr ibuteValue(orac le.cabo.ui.UICo nstants.STYLE_C LASS_ATTR, css);
----
im using Advanced Table region

Could you please suggest me ..

Thanks in Advance
