FAADMIN is the administration user created during the installation of Fusion Applications. This is a special user account and will exist in all Oracle Fusion Applications Installations. This user will be assigned Administrator role and some other Application admin roles by default during the provisioning process.
Sometimes there is a need to change the FAADMIN user, and it can be done by the following steps
1. Stop all user requests by stopping the Oracle HTTP server.
2. Stop all the Fusion Applications Servers (including Admin Servers).
3. Stop all “opmn” processes such as BI, GOP, etc. depending on your Fusion Applications installation type.
4. Do not shutdown Node Manager.
Go to ODSM and change password for FAADMIN as shown below
