I came across a statement Cloud Financial Help Center,

"Each business unit can post transactions to a single primary ledger, but it can process transactions for many legal entities. "

In EBS, you could assign a LE to a BSV which represented a BU, is the concept the same in R19. What is meant by "process transactions for many legal entities." ? Any suggestions?

    Hello ,

This is the explanation that i have:

BSV's are attached to Legal Entity. And Legal Entities are attached to Primary Ledger (using the task:Assign Legal Entity).

In the task, "Assign Business Unit Business Function", Primary Ledger is assigned to Business Unit. So if there are multiple Legal Entites attached to this Primary Ledger, the BU can perform tasks for them.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,
