Hi,
Trying to access the GL Accounting Flexfield Values from my new user login but I am getting an error FRM-41803 list of values contains no entries even thou I could see the values under Operations login for the same resposiabilty.

The Responsibility has the same values and access as the GL Vision Operations(USA), Could I have a clarification on why I cannot view from the new user login.

Thank you

Please Check the Metlink Note General Ledger Accounting Flexfield Set Results In FRM-41830 List Of Values Contains No Entries (Doc ID 1618865.1)

The issue is caused by lack of privilege due to new Flexfield Value Set Security setup in 12.2.2.

Flexfield value set security enables role-based separation of duties for viewing, creating, or updating values in value sets used for key flexfields, descriptive flexfields, and report parameters. Value set security allows administrators to restrict users from viewing, creating, or updating values for specific value sets in the Values form (FNDFFMSV). For example, you can set up value set security such that certain users can view or insert values for any value set used by the Accounting Flexfield but no other value sets, while other users can view and update values for value sets used for any flexfields in the Oracle Human Capital Management applications. You can also segregate access by Operating Unit as well as by role or responsibility.

    SOLUTION

    1. Flexfield value set security requires a mandatory Patch 17305947:R12.FND.C (Patch 17305947). Please download and review the readme of the patch. NOTE: This patch is not recommended for R12.2.3 and higher as documented in Note 1589204.1 below.

NOTE: The setup documentation corresponding to the patch is in My Oracle Support Note "Release 12.2 Flexfield Value Set Security Documentation Update for Patch 17305947:R12.FND.C" (Document 1589204.1). This documentation supersedes the Flexfield Value Set Security chapter in the "Oracle E-Business Suite Flexfields Guide, Release 12.2" Part No. E22963-06. This feature also requires some mandatory setup steps before any users can create or update values in the Values form. See the documentation for details.
    2. Apply the patch to a test instance after a backup.

    3. Apply the patch to other instances the same as needed.

    Please can this be checked.
