Looking for steps to add API for example - ap_amount_utilities_pkg.ap_convert_number to convert number amount to words.

Can we still use API - APPS.IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB to add custom XML tag?

in Fusion cloud check print - what are the steps to add custom tags?

Thanks Krishna. In SAAS environment - where you don't have an option to connect to Oracle but only BI Publisher. Not sure even if you have on-premise fusion payable then you can use API in BI Publisher reports. Therefore looking forward to hear if we can use API in SAAS environment. Also in onpremise application.

    Looking forward to hear.

    Dear Rajesh,

Yes you are right in SAAS environment, normally the role provisioned to you will not have the privileges to trigger any web service. You need to get in touch base with your system integrator( Oracle on-demand or any other third party company who is managing SAAS) to act on your behalf and trigger the required API.

In On-Premise you can download the required API/Webservice from OER and update the attributes/parameters either in HTML or normal format and execute itif your role having the privileges to update webservice/package.

There are certain certificates and other security authentications which you need to enter before inputing the arguments. Once you select the WSDL you need to parse it to validate it before selecting the operation.

    Thanks & Regards
