HI Jay,

If we understand correct you are facing issue while opening GL period. Hope you might have performed following actions.

1) When you created your ledger a new role is created for that ledger and you might have assigned that role to your user ID, if not please assign it

2) You must have set the scope to the required ledger before opening the period, if not please do it

3) Still not working please try to logout and login again to check the access

Ok! Post running all this, I want to provision new roles and I see my role names (like General Accountant my ledger) but when i go to assign roles those roles dont show up..

thats where i tried running the job but it did not work..
