We have been hearing a lot about SOA these days with respect to Oracle's Fusion Middleware and Fusion. Could you please tell me what are the SOA career prospects for a Apps Techno functional consultant with prior experience in Web Services & web technologies like ASP.NET & C#. I would like to know focussing on SOA from this moment onwards would help to gain career advantage in near future considering Oracle's Technology change towards SOA.
Appreciat e your input on this.
Thanks & Regards,

I am interested in doinmg a course in BPEL.
How much benificial it will be..?
I had gone thru your site, the way you are proving the support to the consulatants is awesome. I hope would get the excellent support to start my carrer in oracle apps from you. Currently am working in Java/J2EE technologies, am very much interested to learn the oracle apps, but am not getting the clear picture where exactly i need to start my learning. I heared tht oracle fusion has the Java concepts also. Can you please suggest me which one is the best suited for me?
Appreciate d your help.
Thanks,
Mallika.
Fusion will take at least half a decade to be widely implemented.
Hence dont bank upon it in immediate future.
Get into a java job into any company that already has Oracle Apps project ongoing. I am sure, with keen interest you will make a breakthrough.
K eep reading as much about oracle apps while you hunt for that break.
You never know- a single sentence in interview can be enough to demonstrate your knowledge, to help you fetch the job.
Good luck
