You also must define the layout of the extracted records including the data elements that comprise the extract, the date range of the records you are selecting, and the output directory and file name of the extract file. After you create your extract definition, you run the system extract batch process to create your extract results using the Concurrent Manager. You can then review these results, including any errors that occurred during the batch process. When you are satisfied with the results of the extract, you can transfer the extract file onto the delivery medium by which you transmit or store the extract results.
