Bulk load utility is the features in Oracle Identity Manager which allows us to load users, accounts, roles, role hierarchy, role membership, and role category data. This is important for the migration of bulk data before the GoLive of your Oracle Identity Management project. Some times we can face issue while running this script and but it is hard to identify the exact error.
We go and search in logs for the clue and sometimes we try to resolve this using trial and errors.
In this article I am going to tell you how to get the proper error without wasting time in logs of Oracle Identity Manager.
we just need to run the QL query as OIM schema user and we will able to get the clue ablout the exact error.
Open SQL Developer or any other IDE for running the SQl querry and run the followng query.
SELECT MSG FROM OIM_BLKLD_LOG
WHERE MODULE = '<enter USER or ACCOUNTS or ROLES or ROLE HERARCHY or ROLE MEMBERSHP or ROLE CATEORY which ever you are working on> AND LOG_LEVEL = 'ERROR'
ORDER BY MSG_SEQ_NO;
This will give you the exact error which is prventing your bulk load utility to be completed.
do the required changes and run your utility again.
