Oracle Fusion Financial Reporting Center: Part 2
In Part 1 of this article we understood what is Fusion Financial Reporting Center and why this is required and we also understood key benefits to user. We also saw Comparison and benefits of Fusion Financial Reporting Center over EBS R12. In Part 2, we will see how to Install and configure Financial Reporting Studio Client for Users.
How to Configure Financial Reporting Center?
To configure and install the components in Financial Reporting Center, below steps are required:
- Configuring Financial Reporting Center
- Installing and configuring Financial Reporting Studio - performed by end users (Details given below)
- Installing Smart View - performed by end user.
- Configuring Workspace Database Connection - performed by administrator.
- Configuring Oracle Fusion Transactional BI Dimensions
Installing and configuring Financial Reporting Studio Client for Users
Prerequisites needed for installing the Financial Reporting Studio are:
- A user connect to the Financial Reporting Studio by downloading the installation files to computer fromWorkspace.
- Then follow this path:Navigator > Financial Reporting Center > Open Workspace for Financial Reporting. Once Workspaceis opened, clickTools > Install > Financial Reporting Studio.
After performing the prerequisites and completing the installation, launch the Financial Reporting Studio and provides your user ID, password, and the Server URL.
To derive the Server URLinformation by follow below steps:
- OpenNavigator > Financial Reporting Center > Open Workspace for Financial Reporting.
- Edit theWorkspace URLand remove workspace/index.jsp.
- Copy the modified URL to theServer URL
Under Tool Tab search for Install & then search for Financial Reporting Studio.
After Sleting Financial Reporting Studio, Press enter button & tit will install Financial Reporting Studio.
